She attributes her success and growth in the community to successful patient-doctor relationships based on education and communication. She is married, and has three young girls who keep her busy with family activities.

Dr. Mitch Williams
Dr. Mitch Williams, originally from Fort Worth and a graduate of the University of Arkansas, joined North Texas Foot & Ankle in 2009. He is a graduate of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During the last year of podiatry school, Dr. Williams trained at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas doing extensive work in diabetic wound care and limb salvage. In 2008, Dr. Williams completed a three-year surgical residency in reconstructive foot & ankle surgery at Presbyterian Hospital in Greenville, Texas while working with many physicians in and around Dallas.
Dr. Williams' professional interests include all aspects of trauma and reconstructive forefoot, rearfoot, & ankle surgery as well as sports medicine. His training also includes bunion and flatfoot correction, as well as diabetic limb salvage and wound care. During his residency, Dr. Williams also had the privilege of completing a Reconstructive Rearfoot & Ankle fellowship in Germany & Austria. He has dedicated time to surgical mission projects in Mexico which he hopes to continue with in the future.
He is Board Qualified in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons as well as a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Texas Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Williams bases his practice on successful patient-doctor communication, compassion, and patient education. He continues to assist in the training of podiatric residents from the Presbyterian Hospital residency program. Dr. Williams enjoys college sports, running, biking, snow skiing, and playing recreational sports. He and his wife Barbara reside in Plano.
